The funeral took place on Friday 24th July. It was a very emotional time. I was extremely proud to see so many fans, supporters, friends etc standing outside the Turf to pay their last respects as the Herse went past, and also at the cremation service. As a Granddaughter to Tommy it was an upsetting, yet heartwarming time to see how well respected, and highly thought of my Granddad was and still is.
